About Us
Northampton Hockey Club (aka Saints) is a club that caters for all ages and abilities: From just 4 years old to members in their 60s and 70s, we have a breadth of junior and adult teams. This is just one of many reasons why we should be your first choice for hockey in Northamptonshire
The club was formed in 2009 following the merger of two clubs; Northampton Lions and Northampton Saints. The sucessful merger has created a club with the right mix and numbers of playing staff, with nearly 600 members (young and old) on our books.The history of the club goes back well over 100 years
Our Ladies and Men's 1's play in the top divisions in the Midlands. We currently field 15 senior club sides (7 men's, 5 ladies, 2 masters and 1 mixed). Our Junior Section has 300 players from 4 to 18 and fields teams in the Northants Junior leagues at under 14, under 12 under 10 and 8 and midlands leagues at under 12, 14 and 16 , it provides weekly training sessions for all ages and abilities. It has a dedicated coaching team and progressive and developmental training programme to enhance the physical and athletic growth of all its members.
